The installation operates in 8.1 channel surround sound with split-screen video. Audio material in each separate speaker is triggered by the movement of the audience in the space using camera tracking. The visitors position in the installation space dictating which video and audio clips are played.
Three Foley pits containing corn flour, gravel and leaves are all close-miked with the resulting walking sounds also forming part of the 8.1 channel audio mix. The audio recordings taken from participants in a separate space are updated daily by the artists.
The screen shows a split-screen of four separate video clips to which the sound effects have been made.Video shows mock-up of sample video clips in split-screen with feet walking in foley pits superimposed at various times, stereo audio is used in this version.
